IMPROVE YOUR SKATING AND HOCKEY SKILLS
90% of the game is SKATING; therefore, it is important to be a proficient skater. As your skating improves, so does your
passing, stickhandling and shooting skills. As you get to the
next level of your game, you have to be faster, stronger and
more creative than your competitor. Ryan Schmidt will help
you attain the skills you will need against the competition.
Ryan's teaching method helps players gain speed while improving
balance and coordination. Every drill taught has a purpose for the
game. The goal is for each player to master Ryan's skating drills
with and without the puck and to understand when and where
to apply them in a game situation, offensively and defensively.
Ryan will correct and/or demonstrate the proper techniques that
he is instituting with every student. Ryan's goals are not to just to
improve skating skills but to build confidence in each student!

Testimonials
Mr. Schmidt,
"I was very impressed with what I saw during the intermediate/novice power skating camp this morning. I liked the way Kim Muir, her staff and your staff took the time to emphasize the proper techniques needed to become accomplished and successful skaters. I liked the extra time and effort the staff spent working with the kids that needed the extra help and guidance. This is the type of camp that we have wanted our daughter to attend and were hoping for. Please pass along my compliments to Kim Muir, her staff as well as yours."
Thank you.
-M. Gregory, Raleigh NC
Dear Coach Schmidt,
"We are writing because you have had an impact on the hockey career of our daughter Ansley. We are pleased to announce that Ansley's hard work and dedication has led to an opportunity to play Division I womens hockey at Yale University. We would like to thank you for your part that you have played in Ansley's development and success. I know she appreciates your contribution and is a better person and/or player as a result of her association with you."
Again, thanks for your support and coaching our daughter. -B. LaHue, Atlanta GA
"I was looking for a way to turn some heads this season. Working with Coach Schmidt not only made me a better player, but pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me break bad habits. Coach Schmidt's drills mimic real game situations and give you an advantage over the competition." Thanks Coach! -Troy Slider, Jr. Hurricanes "AAA"
"Training with Ryan Schmidt has brought my game to the Next Level. I owe a great deal to Coach Ryan for instilling confidence in my game and preparing me for the season. I strongly recommend his Hockey Camps and Lessons"
Your the best Coach!

My son was in your Camp and he very much enjoyed it. He and his other two teammates have been skating and shooting much better in practice this past week! -Thanks, M. Weiland, NC
Hi Ryan!
I just wanted to let you know that I made the Division I hockey team at Boston University. I want to thank you for all the help and support you gave me. You were a big part in my life and success. Hope you are doing well. -Thanks again!! Jenn Arms
"Ryan Schmidt is a dedicated youth hockey development coach. Our family was introduced to him as a squirt coach for our daughter at the squirt travel level. He did a spectacular job throughout the season. He has a compassionate approach to coaching hockey. Our daughter developed at a surprisingly accelerated rate. We then decided to hire him for developing on a private level. He was able to bring our squirt A level daughter to a successful level for tryouts of the AAA Team in 8 short weeks. This is the team she plays for currently. Our son also trains with him, working toward a goal of playing Tier 1 Juniors. His combined training for both on and off ice as well as his recommended “at home” training is the reason for both of our players successes. Our son plays for a Tier 1 Bantam Minor team and has been invited to play in several high level tournaments. He has been asked to try out for a USHL Junior Tier 1 futures selection and has also been invited to travel abroad to play in world tournaments. Ryan’s training is far superior to anything we have seen as a family. Our children think very highly of him, he makes the process successful through first developing a relationship with the children and combining that with superior training. For high level development as an athlete and overall progression of being a good standing individual in the community, Ryan Schmidt is the coach for that." -D. Way, NC
"I have been involved in hockey for 42 years and have had the privilege of playing for and against Pro and Stanley Cup winning coaches at the top levels of Canadian hockey. Ryan Schmidt has an exceptional hockey mind and an ability to quietly communicate effectively with children that places him at an elite level of minor hockey coaches. While under his direction my son not only improved his skills and developed his own passion for the game, he also learned to respect himself, his team-mates, and the game of hockey. It is these lessons that he will have with him long after he takes off his skates. One of the biggest regrets I have in moving back to Canada is that my son will not be exposed to Ryan's methods and teaching." -W. Cox M.D., Prince Edward Isle, Canada
